Papers of the Prugh and Elliott families of Columbus, Ohio, including a statement by J.M. Elliott, re. the National Pulmonary Chemical Company and the "Elliott Treatment" for tuberculosis bronchitis (formula included), five poems by Charles B. Prugh, and a letter from [Prugh?] to his children describing the Columbus flood of 1913. Also letters from a neice in New Jersey, a letter in German, a piece in shorthand, and two cake recipes.

Joshua J. Prewit owned land in Franklin Parish, La. J.M. Elliott was a farmer near Gainesville, Ala., and his brother, William H. Elliott, lived in De Soto Parish, La. Their mother was Jane Elliott. All three men served with the Confederate army during the Civil War and both Elliott brothers were stationed in Virginia.
